Light piercing darkness

Our Mission

Welcome to Clear Scripture

If you’ve ever felt spiritually stuck, finding contradictions in the Bible, or sensing that much of modern church practice doesn't fully align with the grace of God, you’ve come to the right place.

Many sincere believers struggle to harmonize the different parts of Scripture, often leading to confusion about salvation, required practices, and the Christian's role today. We believe the key to resolving this confusion is following a divine command.

Our Mission: Clarity Through Right Division

Our goal is doctrinal clarity. We achieve this by adhering strictly to the principle given to us by the Apostle Paul:"Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth" (2 Timothy 2:15). "Rightly dividing" is the method that moves the Bible from a book of apparent contradictions to a cohesive, non-contradictory whole.

The Clear Gospel of Christ

The result of rightly dividing is the simple, powerful, and grace-centered Gospel made clear: The Gospel for us today is that Christ died for our sins, was buried, and rose again the third day (1 Corinthians 15:1-4). Salvation is a free gift received by faith alone in this finished work, entirely separate from works, rituals, or adherence to the Law.

Our Method

The theological name for this approach is Mid-Acts Pauline Dispensationalism. While the name sounds academic, the idea is simple and practical:

  • Mid-Acts: We recognize God's program for the Body of Christ began in the middle of Acts with Paul's conversion (Acts 9), not at Pentecost (Acts 2). This is the starting point for our doctrine in the Age of Grace.
  • Pauline: We receive our specific church doctrine from the epistles of Paul, who is designated as the Apostle to the Gentiles and our apostle for today.
  • Dispensational: We understand that God has worked with humanity in different ways ("dispensations") throughout history.

By rightly dividing between God’s program with Israel (Prophecy) and His current program with the Body of Christ (the Mystery), the Bible becomes a cohesive, perfect whole. It’s a straightforward approach that asks basic questions: Who is speaking? To whom are they speaking? And in what context?

The goal isn't to start arguments. It's to offer resources that help you move from confusion to confidence, empowered to be a "workman that needeth not to be ashamed." The hope is that here, you find the joy and freedom that come from understanding God's Word and the pure gospel of grace.
